Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting Established to Serve Needs of Building and Legal Industries

(PRWEB) June 15, 2011

Architects, engineers and members of the building and legal industries have a new resource for worldwide insurance and risk management: Greyling. Formed by a group of industry veterans, the new firm is dedicated to helping clients develop risk management and insurance solutions that maximize profits and minimize risks.

Greyling serves hundreds of clients throughout the United States, including many of the country’s leading design and construction firms, such as Arup; Crafton Tull & Associates, Inc.; DLZ Corporation; Hardesty & Hanover; Hoffman Corporation; HOK Group, Inc.; Kimley-Horn; Kitchell Corporation; Kohn Pedersen Fox; Langan; POWER Engineers; Primus Builders; SWA Group, Inc.; TRC Companies; Volkert Inc.; and Weidlinger.

Founded by partners David Collings, Gregg Bundschuh, J.D. and Robert Staed, Jr., J.D., Greyling has some of the most seasoned professionals in the industry, with every senior staff member boasting at least 25 years of experience. Greyling is one of the few firms in the insurance and risk management arena with staff who can assess their clients’ risk management portfolios from the perspective of an insurance broker, an attorney, and a professional engineer.

“Having decades of experience working within the insurance industry, the design and construction industry, and the legal profession, we have an in-depth knowledge of the risks and challenges facing today’s firms,” says Collings. “We use our expertise to take a multi-focal view of risk and advise our clients on a wide range of issues.”

Greyling addresses exposures that extend nearly anywhere in the world their clients do business. “Our work extends far beyond the U.S. We’ve worked everywhere from Botswana and China to Argentina and Zimbabwe,” says Staed. “Wherever your business goes, we can go with you,”

Current and near-term projects include the Panama Canal, Wembley Stadium in London, and the Olympic venue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In addition to working with their clients, Greyling also actively supports the industries it serves. The firm’s partners and staff are active volunteers and leaders in numerous organizations, including: American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Council of American Structural Engineers (CASE), National Brownfield Association (NBA), Society for Design Administration (SDA), and Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).

“Being involved with these organizations not only allows us to give back and support the industries we serve, but it also allows us to keep up to speed with the latest developments and issues facing the industries. This helps us provide even better service to our clients,” says Bundschuh.

Greyling is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia at 450 Northridge Parkway, Suite 102. The firm also has an office at 1400 Kendon Drive in St. Louis, Missouri. For additional information, visit http://www.greyling.com or call (877) 908-5619.

Greyling is a specialty insurance brokerage and risk consulting firm. The founding partners are experienced veterans of the insurance industry, the construction industry, and the legal profession. Greyling takes a multi-focal view of risk and helps its clients develop risk management and insurance solutions that protect their bottom line and help them maximize profits and minimize risks.
