Great American Insurance Group: Trucking Division Unveils Big Rig Giveaway Sweepstakes

Great American Insurance Group's Trucking Division announced the start of its Big Rig Giveaway sweepstakes for 2014, marking the eighth year of Great American's sponsorship.

According to a release, the 2014 grand prize is a customized Kenworth to be awarded to a lucky sweepstakes participant. The name will be drawn at the Mid-America Trucking Show on March 29. The winner does not need to be present to win.

"The economy has been a challenge for many people, including truck drivers," said Mark Calkin, Divisional President, Great American Insurance Trucking Division. "We have a long history of supporting this vital industry, and we're pleased to be able to lend a hand any way we can. Truckers help keep America moving, and we're happy to help protect drivers and keep them on the road."

Subject to certain limitations, any trucker with a valid Class A commercial driver license is eligible to participate. Drivers can register online, find details and read the official rules at GreatAmericanTrucker.com. Registrations will also be taken in person at Great American's booth (#69172) at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, from March 27-29.

Over the past seven years, more than 35,000 drivers have registered to win a rig through this promotion. Previous Great American Insurance Group Big Rig Giveaway winners from New York, Louisiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Ohio and Kentucky were chosen randomly and have taken home Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth and Volvo rigs.

Great American's Trucking Division is a provider of insurance products for the long-haul trucking industry and specializes in service to independent owner-operators.
