Gould & Lamb and Continental Trust Services Announce Agreement for Professional Administration Services

PR Web

Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) December 20, 2011

Gould & Lamb and Continental Trust Services announced that they have entered into a Mutual Services Agreement to provide Professional Administration Services. The new Professional Administration Services for Medicare Set Aside Accounts, Medical Custodial Accounts, and Special Needs Trusts will be in addition to the Self Administration Support Services Gould & Lamb currently offers for Post Settlement Account Administration.

The services provide injured individuals with the necessary direction to properly disburse funds following the settlement of a workers’ compensation or liability claim. At the same time, the services protect Medicare’s interest under the Medicare Secondary Payer Act. In addition to having a dedicated Post Settlement Administration Support Representative, injured individuals will have 24/7 access to account information via an interactive, secure web-based portal.

Deborah Pfeifle, President of Gould & Lamb commented, “We are pleased to offer our clients Professional Administration Services which protect both Medicare’s interests and those of the injured party in every circumstance. Our relationship with Continental Trust Services will allow us to assist injured individuals in protecting their Medicare and/ or Medicaid benefits, while offering a cost containment approach extending the life of the settlement funds for future needs. We chose Continental Trust Services for its strict compliance with CMS guidelines and rigid adherence to ethical decision making. Gould & Lamb is now positioned as the only “one-stop-shop” for the complete line of MSP compliance services in the market, including Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR), Conditional Payment Research (CPR) and Negotiation (CPN), Medicare Set Asides (MSAs) and Post Settlement Account Administration, supplementing other settlement services such Life Care Plans, for litigated claims. “

Christi Fried, Managing Member of Continental Trust Services commented, “I am very excited to combine the talents and expertise of Gould & Lamb with Continental Trust Services. Together we complement one another to offer the best products in the personal injury marketplace, especially on Special Needs Trusts with a Medicare Set Aside provision. Beginning with an Allocation and continuing through the Administration of the account, we provide many services for families that require reporting, negotiation of future expenses, fuel assistance and property management. I look forward to our team solutions for the benefit of all parties.”
