Glenn, Pitts restart Hire an Adult Program

The program originally formed in 2009 but had fell defunct until Pitts and Glenn teamed up to get it restarted.
"There are a lot of people who need jobs, and they need the medical insurance," Glenn said. "A lot of people don't know where the jobs are at. Others might need help filling out applications or finding out where the jobs are at. This what we are trying to help with."

Glenn said the group has primarily focused on finding manufacturing plant jobs for job-seekers, but that they are also looking into other potential employment opportunities as well.
"We aren't looking for temporary positions," Glenn said. "We are looking for good-paying jobs for these people that have some benefits along with them. We want them to be able to put food on their tables and raise their families. We want them to be able to buy a baseball glove if they have kids that want to play sports in school."
Glenn said that the goal is to average finding 30 people a job every month. He said he has 100 clients right now that he could link with employers that are looking for good employees.
"We want to have the program continue to grow every month," Glenn said.
