GEICO Names Don Robinson Regional Vice President of Midwest Operations

MACON, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Don Robinson has been promoted to regional vice president of GEICO’s Midwest operations located in Macon, Ga. Robinson previously served as assistant vice president of underwriting in Lakeland, Fla.

With GEICO since 1997, Robinson began his career in Lakeland where he started as a sales representative and held various positions in underwriting, claims and sales and service before being promoted to director of customer service in 2007. He held this position for three years before being elected assistant vice president of underwriting in Florida in 2010.

Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Leo University and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. He also completed studies for the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
