Technology enables insurance company to enhance underwriting activity for trucking clientele

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GDS Link, a global provider of customer-centric risk management and process automation solutions, announced today that Great American Insurance Group (GAIG), a specialty insurance provider, has selected the company’s flagship product, DataView360™, to enhance the insurance underwriting process of its trucking division by providing more timely and predictive information used in the underwriting process.

GAIG’s trucking division is a leading provider of insurance products for the long-haul trucking industry. The company desired a more comprehensive view into applicants’ credit history as part of its underwriting process. GDS Link’s web-based DataView360 enables GAIG to obtain a real-time, blended credit grade simply by entering an applicant’s name and address. DataView360’s multiple aggregated data sources provide a holistic view of credit information.
