FreeERISA.com Launches Directory of Self-Funded Workers’ Compensation
WASHINGTON, April 27 - FreeERISA.com, the world's largest employee benefits website, announces the introduction of a brand new offering: the 2006 Directory of Self-Funded Workers' Compensation, or SFWC. This is the first and only commercially available database on companies that self-fund their workers' compensation.
This web-based directory is a product of Judy Diamond Associates, Inc., the premiere publisher of pension and welfare plan data for the financial services market.
The 2006 Directory of Self-Funded Workers' Compensation is a premium on- line service that provides users with access to a comprehensive, searchable database of nearly 1,300 corporations and organizations that self-fund their workers' compensation in forty-five states. Additionally, users are offered bonus information on over 7,800 smaller, self-funded companies. Each entry includes the company name, address, contact information with phone number, the states in which they self-fund, and several additional data elements.
The database enables users to search through the directory based on a wide range of criteria: state of self-funding, state of headquarters, industry code, zip code, range of number of employees, and company name. Results may be sorted according to company name, contact name or number of employees.
The basic data for this directory was provided by each of the included forty-five states. The remaining states refused to release the requested information.
The collected data generally included company names and addresses while several states provided only company names. Additional information was appended, using reliable internal and third party resources, to include accurate addresses, relevant contact information, and other data.
As with all other JDA products hosted on FreeERISA.com, this directory offers the option to export data. Using this feature, analysts or financial professionals are able to view and present the information off-line using any third party analysis program, such as Excel or Access.
FreeERISA.com began as a small website in 1999 offering pension and welfare benefit data. Since then, it has grown into the largest employee benefits source on the Web with thirteen benefits-related databases, other services, and over 390,000 registered users.
