Franklin County area police log

June 24--SHIPPENSBURG -- Several vehicles parked in the 500 blocks of Glenn and Charles streets were reportedly broken into between 6 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday, according to Shippensburg Police.

Items missing are an orange Apple iPod, a Dell Latitude E5420 laptop and a power cord. Other items apparently taken from the vehicles were found discarded nearby.

Anyone with information may call police.

Guilford Township

HIT AND RUN -- Someone driving a dark green or black Nissan truck reportedly hit a another vehicle in the parking lot of Chambersburg Wal-Mart and drove away without leaving contact or insurance information on Sunday.

The victim told Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, at 7:50 p.m. that he found his rear driver side bumper damaged when he returned to his vehicle after being in the store for about 10 minutes.

A witness told police she saw a vehicle enter the parking lot, attempt to back into an adjacent parking space and then leave after they hit the vehicle. Surveillance cameras did not capture the incident, according to police.

THEFT -- Jocelyne Young Sime-Dimou, 20, Fayetteville, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole jewelry from Chambersburg Wal-Mart at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg.

Greene Township

HARASSMENT -- Ashley Glen Knepper, 38, and Kayla Paige Wolfe, 26, both of Fayetteville, allegedly shoved each other at 259 W. Main St. before Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, were called at about 3:53 p.m. on Wednesday. Both have been charged with harassment, according to police.
