Frank Lutz Joins Berkadia as Senior Vice President

Fannie Mae veteran to support GSE production growth

HORSHAM, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Berkadia announced today that Frank Lutz has joined the company as a Senior Vice President and Fannie Mae liaison. Effective July 11^th, Lutz will be based in Berkadia’s Horsham, Pa. headquarters and will report to Executive Vice President Karl Reinlein. He will oversee all Fannie Mae pricing and delivery activities, interface with Berkadia’s origination network to facilitate the production of Fannie Mae loans and work directly with the agency on loan underwriting, exceptions and waivers.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Lutz served as Vice President for Fannie Mae Customer Management in the Northeast Business Center, where he was charged with implementing the company’s multifamily policies and procedures and was responsible for business development with numerous Multifamily Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS) lender customers. He also oversaw the secondary market acquisitions of multifamily loans through these lender customers on a nationwide basis, and his team set pricing for loans within established guidelines and coordinated the negotiation and execution of transactions according to established delegations of authority. During his nearly 18 years with Fannie Mae, Lutz also held the roles of Multifamily Special Asset Management Investment Officer, Multifamily Director, and Vice President for Multifamily Customer Management for the Southwest Business Center.

Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Lutz was with the Resolution Trust Corporation.
