Former New York Life Executive Selects Equias Alliance

Equias Alliance, LLC is pleased to announce that David F. Boyle of Overland Park, Kansas, has joined the firm as a Consultant for the Midwest region. Prior to joining Equias Alliance, Mr. Boyle was Vice President of Executive Benefits for New York Life Insurance Company. His primary area of responsibility was the marketing and sale of Bank-Owned Life Insurance(“BOLI”). During his twelve year career as an Executive Officer of New York Life, the company was often the market leader in the sale of community bank BOLI according to industry publications. Over 2,000 banks selected New York Life Insurance and Annuity Corporation as their BOLI carrier during this period of time.

Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Boyle was Vice President of Large Corporate Markets at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company. At Mass Mutual, one of his key responsibilities was the marketing, sale and administration of BOLI and other group life insurance products. In previous positions, Mr. Boyle has assisted banks and corporations with the plan design of both qualified and nonqualified benefit programs.

Mr. Boyle is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Cornell Law School and graduated cum laude from Western New England University School of Law.

During his career, Mr. Boyle has been a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and an associate member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters (“AALU”). Mr. Boyle has also spoken at several industry meetings regarding BOLI and other executive benefits topics.
