Focused On Healthcare, Eastridge Places Two Specialty Divisions Under One Strong Leader

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- One of the nation’s largest privately held staffing firms has named a staffing industry veteran to manage two of its flagship divisions, TheraStaff LLC and Medical Resources Staffing Services.

The Eastridge Group of Staffing Companies (Eastridge) has appointed Bill Stone to run these two brands specializing in healthcare staffing. Stone has spent more than 30 years in the staffing business.

“Bill Stone is a man of tremendous character, business acumen, and leadership,” said Eastridge CEO Robert Svet. “His long experience with healthcare makes him ideally suited to understand the industry and provide value to our clients.”

In 1988 and 1989, Stone served as President of California Staffing Professionals, a nonprofit membership organization serving the staffing services industry. Stone has also been an advocate on staffing industry legislation at the state and federal level.

While TheraStaff LLC and Medical Resources Staffing Services have been distinct divisions within Eastridge since 2008, they have found synergy in operating under the same ownership. Stone’s appointment to manage both brands shows Eastridge’s commitment to grow and develop a wide-ranging presence in healthcare staffing.

TheraStaff LLC provides a variety of medical facilities with experienced, screened and effective physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and their respective therapy assistants.

Medical Resources Staffing Services provides qualified professionals to outpatient facilities, clinics, scientific laboratories, dental practices, and medical insurance and billing companies.

The collaboration between Stone and Eastridge CEO Robert Svet is about more than the business of staffing. Last May, Stone and Svet founded the Forget Me Not Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit enhancing the lives of those in nursing homes and hospitals through the gift of flowers.
