Presolicitation Notice for a commodity acquisition (reference FAR Parts 12, 13.5 and 19). The 45th Contracting Squadron at Patrick AFB intends to award a Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price, basic year and four one-year options, contract for removal, furnishing and installation of flooring; such as carpeting, tile, and accessories. This requirement is set aside for HUBZone competition. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) Code of 1752. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238330, with a size standard of $14 million dollars. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove, furnish and install flooring at various facilities on Patrick AFB, Florida IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS). A solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around 10 September 2010, for an award on or around 1 Oct 2010. This acquisition is 100% set-aside to HUBZone competition. The Request For Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://www.ccr.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration.
