Farmers Insurance Appoints Thomas White as President of Non- Insurance Business

Farmers Insurance recently reported the appointment of Thomas White to the post of president of Farmers Non-Insurance Businesses.
According to a release from the Company, in this newly created position, White will oversee Farmers non-insurance businesses including Farmers Financial Solutions (FFS) and Kraft Lake, as well as the development of future new business opportunities. Reporting to Farmers Chief Executive Officer Jeff Dailey, White will be focused on deepening customer relationships and supporting business growth for Farmers 50,000 exclusive and independent agents.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, serving most recently as group head of human resources for Zurich. He also served as Zurich Japan's chief executive officer and Farmers New World Life's president and chief executive officer.
"Farmers is pleased to welcome Tom back to Farmers," Dailey said. "His proven leadership of organizations around the world and in- depth knowledge of agency operations will bring additional value and momentum to our non-insurance businesses."
Prior to joining Zurich, White held a variety of senior positions around the world with AIA, Prudential and AIG, beginning his career as an exclusive agent for Allstate.
