Farmers Alliance Mutual Insurance (FAMI) to deploy YASU Technologies’ QuickRules BRMS Technology
Tuesday, November 21, 2006
YASU Technologies, a provider of innovative cross-platform BRM solutions for Java/J2EE and .NET technologies, announced that Farmers Alliance Mutual Insurance (FAMI) will be deploying the QuickRules BRMS technology as part of its new “Endorsement Management” systems.
The current endorsements management system is paper-driven, and all the decisions need to be executed manually. The modernization initiative in intended to reduce the inefficiencies in this process by automating both the steps in the process as well as the decision-making logic. This will ensure that the FAMI Agents have online access to the FAMI product line, while ensuring that the decisions are made and communicated back in real-time.
The QuickRules BRMS technology from YASU Technologies’ was chosen by FAMI to automate the decision making logic after a lengthy evaluation process. FAMI made this decision based on the several advantages inherent in the QuickRules BRMS platform, especially the out-of-the-box support for the ACORD standards. The extensive support for various J2EE application servers, as well the different rule formats supported were also critical factors in choosing the QuickRules BRMS technology over the other BRMS products, according to Andy Edwardson of FAMI.
FAMI has confirmed that the implementation of the new system is already underway, and that it expects to go-live with the new endorsements systems by March, 2007. FAMI is being helped in this effort by Jarus Technologies, one of the implementation partners for the QuickRules BRMS.
