Esurance Appoints Eric Brandt as Chief Claims Officer

Esurance said that Eric Brandt has joined the company as Managing Director and Chief Claims Officer.
The company reported that Brandt will oversee the strategic direction and management of Esurance's entire claims function.
"I am pleased to have Eric join the Esurance team," said Esurance President and CEO Gary Tolman. "He brings a wealth of experience that will be incredibly valuable to our organization as we work to enhance customer service and bring more innovations to market that help drive the evolution of self-directed insurance."
According to a release from the company, Brandt has over 20 years of experience in claims, most recently as Chief Claims Officer at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. Prior to Fireman's Fund, he spent several years at The Hartford Financial Services Group and 16 years at Progressive in various claims leadership roles around the U.S.
Esurance provides auto, homeowners, motorcycle, and renters insurance.
