Eight from PrimeVest named among Bank Investment Consultant Top 50 Reps

Bank Investment Consultant released its annual “Top 50 Bank Reps” ranking in the Dec. 2010 issue, a roster that included eight from PrimeVest Financial Services Inc., an independent, self-clearing broker-dealer dedicated to meeting the brokerage needs of clients within banks and credit unions. The eight honorees eclipsed PrimeVest’s previous high of seven, a mark established in 2006 and repeated in 2008.

Rhonda Arnett (Columbia Bank; Tacoma, Wash.) led the way among PrimeVest financial professionals at No. 10. It marked the second consecutive Top 50 Reps selection for Arnett who climbed 19 spots from No. 29 last year. Arnett was the only woman among the 2010 BIC Top 10. Three of the four women named to the Top 50 are from PrimeVest.

Joining Arnett was her colleague Drew Henrickson (Columbia Bank; Tacoma Wash.) at No. 11, perennial PrimeVest top producer Melanie Weischwill (First Victoria National Bank; Victoria, Texas) at No. 21, Beverly Gleason (Washington Trust Bank; Spokane, Wash.) at No. 29, Robert Nicholas (Tower Bank & Trust; Ft. Wayne, Ind.) at No. 39, David Jones (Lake City Bank; Warsaw, Ind.) at No. 44, Doug Leonzi (National Penn Bank; Allentown, Pa.) at No. 47, and John Nixon (Michigan Commerce Bank; Ann Arbor, Mich.) at No. 50.

Henrickson, Gleason, Nicholas, Jones and Leonzi were each first-time selections to the list. Arnett, Nixon and Weischwill are two-time honorees. Weischwill was also selected among the nation’s top 20 program managers by Bank Investment Consultant in June 2010.
