Duck Creek Customers Flock to Gateway City for Annual User Conference
Duck Creek clients gather at third Annual User Flocking to learn more about Duck Creek’s "Tools for Success"
Bolivar, MO, September 27, 2005 - Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of rating and policy administration software for the insurance industry, today announced the success of their 3rd Annual User Flocking, held September 13-14 at The Pavilion Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. This year’s conference, themed "Tools for Success", focused on client experiences, the benefits achieved with Duck Creek’s EXAMPLE Platform® and tools-based approach, and the company’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) philosophy.
Highlights of this year’s conference included the traditional "state of the company" address from Duck Creek CEO, Doug Roller, followed by a series of technical and business training sessions, product demonstrations, and product previews.
"The User Flocking provides a great opportunity to meet with Duck Creek staff and customers, in a casual, open environment," noted Ralph Sukla, Vice President, Information Systems, at Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company. "I’m pleased to see several prospective customers attend the Flocking this year. For a carrier considering making an investment in a Duck Creek system, this experience is invaluable and a great opportunity for them to meet with the experienced early-adopters and discuss critical project issues, including how to staff, structure, and organize EXAMPLE Platform implementation projects."
Several Duck Creek clients, including Auto-Owners Insurance Company, American Reliable Insurance Company, and Concord Group Insurance, provided presentations sharing best practices, case studies, and tips and techniques on their varied uses of the EXAMPLE Platform - from rating engine to full policy processing system.
"It was a great benefit for our technical staff to meet with the Duck Creek developers face-to-face, and discuss specific technology issues with people who have a deep understanding of the products," said Chris Urone, Senior Systems Designer, Entertainment Brokers International. "We also appreciated the opportunity to see new product previews, and to have the opportunity to provide input on the future of the product."
"On behalf of Duck Creek, I’d like to express my appreciation to all of our customers and prospects who attended the User Flocking," said Duck Creek CEO Doug Roller. "We appreciate their participation and support, and value their input and feedback on our products and services."
On the lighter side, many Duck Creek staff members and customers attended a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, as well as an enjoyable reception at the International Bowling Hall of Fame, which featured dinner and bowling.
