He was attacked by the same rottweiler owned by Rahkiah Lee-Harris on 6/22/10 and 6/13/12. On both occasions, the boy was an invited guest of the defendant’s sons and was playing basketball with them on their driveway. The rottweiler escaped from its pen and attacked him. The 2010 attack resulted in a dog bite wound to his left side. In 2012, the rottweiler bit him on both arms.

Attorney Newell attached as Exhibits to the Minor’s Compromise Petitions a copy of the medical records from Pocono Medical Center. The dog bite wounds were cleansed and the victim was given antibiotics. No stitches were needed and fortunately, no infections developed. The defendant’s homeowners insurance company paid a total settlement amount of $14,000.00. The net proceeds for the young boy have been placed in restricted minor’s accounts as per Judge Williamson’s Orders.
