Stephen Catlin, chief executive of Catlin Group Limited, said:

"I am delighted to announce that David Huebel will succeed Mike Hansen as CEO of Catlin Canada, building on the strong infrastructure that Mike has developed since he became CEO in 2008. Mike will now turn his sole focus to continuing to expand Catlin's global Aerospace underwriting portfolio, which includes Airline, General Aviation, Airport, Aviation Products and Space/Satellite-related coverages. Aerospace is an increasingly important part of Catlin's business, and it now deserves Mike's full-time attention.

"I am also pleased to announce the Greg Joyce will succeed David as chief underwriting officer of Catlin Canada, and I would like to welcome Deborah Moor as Catlin's Canada's new chief operating officer. In 2004 he had assumed overall responsibility for Catlin's worldwide Aviation portfolio. He was promoted to business group leader for Aerospace in January 2006. Mike relocated to Calgary in August 2006 to establish a new Catlin Canada office, while retaining his responsibility for Catlin's global Aerospace underwriting operations. In September 2008 Mike was appointed as CEO of Catlin Canada based in Toronto.

Greg Joyce joined Catlin in 2008 as product manager-Energy Insurance and was promoted to deputy chief underwriting officer in 2010. Prior to joining Catlin, Greg spent 17 years at GCAN (now RSA). In 2008, he assumed the additional responsibility of national practice Leader-Energy Insurance.
