CNA Europe Appoints Underwriting Manager, Casualty

LONDON, June 28 -- CNA Europe issued the following news release:
CNA Insurance Company Limited ("CNA Europe") today announces the appointment of Justin Godman as Casualty Underwriting Manager, reporting to Mark Beattie, European Underwriting Director - Property & Casualty.
Justin joins CNA with more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. He most recently served as Regional Underwriting Manager for Chartis, managing a team of underwriters in the South East region and was responsible for the Casualty account, comprising both UK and multinational business. Prior to this, Justin spent seven years at Allianz in various underwriting and sales roles. He has also held underwriting positions at Zurich Commercial.
Mark Beattie, European Underwriting Director - Property & Casualty commented: "With more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, Justin brings significant underwriting skills and managerial experience to the London team as well as excellent broker relationships. Justin is responsible for driving our London Casualty business forward during 2012 and beyond, with emphasis on profitable growth in our chosen specialist areas."
