DataFlex 2014 advances the platform's feature set for commercial Windows and web applications, and implements numerous enhancements and customer suggestions to drive developer productivity up and total application cost down.
Key improvements include enhancements to the DataFlex Web Framework, which makes it much easier to build complex business applications with less code, more re-use of code and components, better application structure, and robust scalability. Also included are product-wide optimizations for SQL servers, Studio enhancements that improve developer productivity, and new and expanded core product capabilities, including new Data Dictionary features and classes, improved Client Web Services and WSDL parser, and more.

DataFlex web and Windows applications share a common technical platform so developers can reuse large portions of Windows application code and business logic to create new, browser based solutions in minimum time.
