CyraCom Opens Its Fourth Tucson Location, Hiring Over 75 Full-time Employees

PR Web

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) April 15, 2014

CyraCom, the Tucson-based interpreter and translation services provider, announced that it will be opening its fourth location in Tucson. The new location, which will be in downtown Tucson on 1 E. Congress St., will be the company's fifth contact center and seventh location nationally. The company plans to hire over 75 positions to work as language interpreters at that location, bringing the total number of employees in Southern Arizona to over 500.

"The Tucson community has supported CyraCom since we were founded here in 1995. We are committed to developing our workforce in Tucson and support the downtown redevelopment," said Chairman and CEO Jeremy Woan.

CyraCom's other Tucson facilities include a corporate office at 5780 N. Swan Road, an interpreter contact center on Elvira Road near the Tucson Airport, and a business development office downtown on 100 S. Stone Ave. in the historic Pioneer Building. CyraCom currently has over 1,200 employees, and three other locations in Phoenix, Arizona; Las Cruces, New Mexico; and Houston, Texas.

CyraCom</org> is one of the top 50 largest private companies in Arizona and the No. 1 fastest-growing job creator in Arizona as ranked by Inc.'s Hire Power Awards. The Company hires and trains bilingual people in the United States to become professional interpreters.

Due to CyraCom's rapid growth, the company is offering attractive career opportunities in an up and coming profession. In addition to competitive starting salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, employees will also receive 120 hours of paid training to become professional interpreters.

Applicants need to be fully proficient in two languages and have graduated from high school. The company is also hiring college graduates for positions in Sales and Marketing.

"I'm very pleased that CyraCom is expanding operations in Tucson," said Mayor Rothschild. "The multi-language interpreting services they provide are a great benefit to this and many other communities."

"The Tucson Metro Chamber congratulates CyraCom on opening its fourth office in Tucson and seventh office overall," said Michael Varney, President and CEO of the Tucson Metro Chamber. "We celebrate CyraCom's commitment to Tucson and especially its commitment to Tucson's downtown. Citizens across Southern Arizona are very proud of the role that CyraCom plays in delivering translation services that help resolve cultural and language issues that sometimes exist between business owners and citizens in our global economy."
