Crump Life Insurance Services Hires Steve Turtz to Expand Southern California Life Brokerage Office

Industry leader Turtz to deepen institutional account relationships

ROSELAND, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Crump Life Insurance Services, part of Crump Group, Inc., the nation’s largest insurance wholesaler, today announced it has added Steven H. Turtz, a highly accomplished and seasoned industry veteran, to its brokerage office in Los Angeles, CA.

Reporting to the LA operation’s managing director Robert “Bob” G. DiMeo, Steve will assume the role of Sales Vice President, partnering with Bob to develop new business in Southern California, with a concentration on regional banks, broker dealers and select independent agents.

DiMeo, who previously worked with Steve, said, “Working together again after so many years is tremendously exciting – Steve’s value to the Crump LA operation will be felt across the board as we continue to deepen our presence in Southern California, building on Steve’s industry expertise and relationships.”

Most recently, Steve was president and executive director of SunTrust Bank’s Financial Planning and Insurance division, leading that organization’s insurance practice to significant growth. He brings 25+ years of industry experience and leadership, having worked at Highland Capital Brokerage and Comerica, as well as having achieved Top of the Table status as a producer.
