Crump Group Names CFO
Caroline J Saucer
ROSELAND, N.J.
Crump Group Inc. has named Scot H. Parnell executive vice president and chief financial officer. Parnell succeeds Dave Obenauer, who became president of CGI's property/casualty insurance services division last month.
Parnell comes from the Student Loan Corp. in Stamford, Conn., where he served as CFO since 2008. Parnell previously also worked at Citi, MetLife and Browning Ferris Industries and began his career with Arthur Andersen in Houston.
Crump Group said it is the largest wholesale insurance distributor in the United States. Crump Group was formed when Crump Insurance Services Inc. -- a wholesale property/casualty broker -- was combined with BISYS Commercial Insurance Services, whose commercial property/casualty operations were consolidated with Crump on July 1, 2008 (BestWire, Jan. 12, 2010). The group's life operation includes a number of subsidiary companies: Time Financial Services, LifeSource, the Potomac Group and Hanleigh.
