McCarren has joined the agency as Regional Vice-President of Marketing in Pennsylvania, based in the greater Pittsburgh area. Austin's local presence reflects Couch Braunsdorf's commitment to provide unparalleled service to our Professional Liability Insurance clients on behalf of the carriers for which we are appointed as Program Administrators: Zurich and General Star. 

Austin has prior experience in a marketing role with the Federal Mutual Insurance Company, and brings several years of field sales experience in the Lawyers Professional Liability field to support Couch Braunsdorf's rapidly growing presence in Western Pennsylvania.   He is well versed in legal malpractice coverage, and has a successful track record of working with some of the world's largest insurance carriers and building strong broker relationships.

Austin is a graduate of Duquesne University, with a B.S. in Marketing and carries the distinguished Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.  He holds Property & Casualty insurance licenses in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.
