Comedian Norm Macdonald the New Face of SafeAuto

SafeAuto Insurance Company’s new advertising campaign showcases its new pricing technology with a familiar face – comedian Norm Macdonald’s.
Macdonald, a stand-up comedian, writer, producer and actor, was a “Saturday Night Live” cast member for five years. “Norm Macdonald has a unique, tell-it-like-it-is style,” said
“SafeAuto has revamped the way we determine pricing so it’s more accurate for each unique driver, which translates into savings,” says Diamond. “Together, our new pricing and customized products like Minimum or Morenimum coverage ensure that we provide our customers with the right level of insurance at a price that’s right for them.”
As part of the campaign, the company is introducing a new tagline, “Drive Safe, Spend Less.”
Along with television and radio commercials, web banners and outdoor boards, the effort will include a series of made-for-web videos. These “Street Smarts” shorts feature Macdonald making humorous observations about driving and car insurance in his trademark style. New editions will be released on a regular basis throughout the summer.
