Carville Job Corps Academy

Dynamic Educational Systems Inc. (DESI), contracting for the U.S. Department of Labor for the operation of the Carville Job Corps Center, a residential adolescent training facility located at 5465 Point Clair Road, Carville, LA 70721, is currently soliciting written bids for Lawn Services.

All quotes must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department by October 8, 2014 by 3:00 p.m. Quotes received after the deadline and/or without all requested documentation will not be considered. Bid must be good for 90 days, after submission. No partial bids will be accepted.

Vendor must submit a written bid on company letterhead to include scope of work ID# CJCC0924-8 at the top each of page. Vendor must provide licenses for doing business in the State of Louisiana, all employee licenses required for performing work in the state of Louisiana, certificate of liability insurance and list of references if no past experience with Carville Job Corps Center.

The period of performance is November 1, 2014 thru October 31, 2015.

If your quote deviates from specifications in any way, such exception must be noted on bid sheet. If unable to quote, please indicate "No Bid" and return bid package to us.

Dynamic Educational Systems Inc. (DESI), reserves the right to reject any bids and select the bid deemed most responsible. Bidders should be aware of bid requirements for federally funded projects and act accordingly.

Bidders are placed on notice that this is a competitive bid process and cost is an important fact. Overall low bid does not constitute bid award.

Carville Job Corps Center is a federal funded facility and entitled to GSA pricing.

Payment terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice. Vendor is required to show numbers of hour's billed and hourly rate on invoice, list of materials used to complete service and provide certified payroll records with invoice.
