The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a sole source award to Barclays Capital, Inc.Barclays will provide security-level index data for use in the BlackRock Investment Risk Management System (IRMS). Certain PBGC portfolios are benchmarked to Barclays indexes and therefore Barclays is the sole vendor that may provide the data that is needed. The data will enable BlackRock to provide certain relative, absolute, and characteristic data on certain PBGC investments, allowing CID staff to better judge the risks of the PBGC investment portfolio. The period of performance is for One Base Year and Two Option Years.

This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), but a Notice of Intent. No RFQ will be issued. Interested parties may, however, request further information no later than 26 June 2014, 5:00 PM EST by email to Jessica Carrillo at [email protected] and Patrick McFarlane at [email protected].
