CipherPass and PostX Team to Offer Enhanced Encrypted Email; Organizations to Benefit From Combined Secure Email Capabilities
CUPERTINO, CA and SANTA MONICA, CA - July 24 - PostX, the leader in the delivery of encrypted email communications for business and consumers, and CipherPass Corporation (OTC:CPHC), an innovator of digital security solutions, announced today that the companies have partnered in a mutual OEM deal that will benefit the customers of both firms.
The patented PostX Messaging Application Platform (MAP) will be incorporated into CipherPass' patent pending C~suite security solution as an optional upgrade for sending secure messages to users who do not have a digital ID. PostX will conversely offer C~suite to their clientele as an optional open standards upgrade of their MAP which also includes C~vault for file/folder encryption. The combined solutions provide a single interface for sending encrypted emails, with or without a digital ID.
"Security is more important than ever to customers, yet the market for solutions remains confusing and fragmented. The truth of the matter is that often a single solution cannot effectively address all customer needs," said Cayce Ullman, CEO, PostX. "However, by working together to offer customers the most complete solutions, we can reduce risk, costs and provide a better user experience. Partners such as CipherPass, who share our approach, are working with us on the front lines to fulfill this vision."
"Our C~mail solution within C~suite has proved to be a very effective and secure approach in supporting the globally accepted open standards of S/MIME secure messaging," noted Glen Day, President and CEO, CipherPass. "However, we also understand and appreciate the challenges of secure email communications with users who do not already possess a digital ID. PostX further enhances CipherPass' secure email solutions to address this issue." Glen also commented that, "CipherPass partners with strong, technical companies who can deliver impressive business solutions. PostX fits that model. CipherPass and PostX share a mutual goal of assuring the privacy and secure delivery of sensitive information. Our customers have an excellent new choice in secure email solutions."
