Career Ladder: Promotions At Trinity, Quinnipiac: HEALTH CARE [The Hartford Courant, Conn.]

At Trinity College, Hartford, Katherine DeConti Golas was promoted to director of alumni relations, and Jenny Holland was promoted to director of communications. Golas was senior associate, director of annual giving, and Holland was manager of the college's marketing efforts.John Petrizzo was appointed a financial reporting specialist at Quinnipiac University, Hamden. Petrizzo, a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, previously worked as an assistant director of corporate financial reporting at The Hartford Financial Services Group.

ENGINEERING

William Flick was named an associate at Leggette, Brashears & Graham Inc., Shelton.

FINANCIAL SERVICES

Jennifer L. Schmidt joined Rockville Bank as retail training officer.

Scott Joseph joined Peoples Securities Inc., a subsidiary of People's United Bank, Bridgeport, as a financial adviser in the West Hartford office.

Jerry W. Long, founder of PCC Technology Group LLC, was elected a director of Simsbury Bank, a subsidiary of SBT Bancorp.

Ryan R. Morrissey joined NorthStar Wealth Partners, West Hartford, as a wealth adviser.

HEALTH CARE

Betsy L. Boatman was appointed vice president of cardiology and transplantation at Hartford Hospital. Boatman, a registered nurse, was a senior consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates in Minneapolis and spent nine years with the Cleveland Clinic.

Greg M. Czapiga has become president/owner of Suburban Home Medical Inc. in West Hartford. Czapiga has worked for the company for the past eight years.

The following doctors have joined St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford: Karl M. Dauphinais, primary care and sports medicine; Dorothy Fojtik, family medicine; Yana Frenkel, psychiatry; Sadaf Khorasani, neurology; Nissin C. Nahmias, minimally invasive/bariatric surgery; and Larisa Yelunina, psychiatry.

Dr. Gail Sullivan, an associate director for education at the University of Connecticut Center on Aging and a professor and program director of geriatric medicine fellowship at the UConn School of Medicine, Farmington, was elected editor of the Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME) by The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
