Car crashes into Shoe Show storefront in Zebulon

No one was injured in the incident. There were two employees and no customers inside the store, which had been open about an hour and a half.
The vehicle jumped onto the sidewalk before striking near the junction of a brick wall and a large window pane, causing structural damage to the building.
The impact dislodged a shelf on the inside wall of the store, leaving shoe boxes and broken glass mixed together on the floor.
Considerably little damage was done to Faison's vehicle. Grossman said Faison's auto insurance will have to cover the damages to the store, but that she wasn't cited with any driving violations.
"She didn't intentionally cause it," Grossman said. "She wasn't careless and reckless or speeding. There was no real charge to charge her with."
