Builders Insurance Group Using IVANS Real-Time Technology to Accelerate Agent Sales and Increase Revenue
Carrier Selects IVANS to Help the Company Build on Its Competitive Position
Stamford, CONN. (Vocus) -- IVANS, Inc. announced today that Builders Insurance Group has chosen IVANS Real-Time Conversionsm (RTC) to process rating requests in real-time initiated by its agents. Using IVANS RTC, Builders Insurance Group can immediately handle these requests from within its agents’ systems or real-time policy upload systems, thus shortening the sales cycle and further enhancing its agents’ customer service and revenue opportunities. Builders Insurance Group is currently rolling out this solution for its Workers’ Compensation line of business, to be followed by General Liability and Commercial Package Policy later this year.
Builders Insurance Group wanted to strengthen its competitive position by making it easier for agents to sell on its behalf. The carrier selected IVANS Real-Time Conversion solution because of its ability to deliver a single, secure processing engine for handling its policy upload requirements, thereby reducing implementation costs normally associated with managing multiple software solutions. Bobby Cone, application development and support manager at Builders Insurance Group, said, “We’ve received tremendous support from IVANS project management team during the RTC solution development, testing, and deployment. They have made the quoting process easier for our agents so sales are not missed and our agents’ workflows are accelerated.”
According to IVANS 2010 Carrier Survey, 74% of respondents are making specific investments this year in tools that help them better respond to customers and agents. Sixty-nine percent plan to invest more in websites and web portals. Mark Gordon, IVANS, Inc. group vice president of insurance, said, “Carriers are increasingly integrating internal systems with web services to make data exchange faster and more accessible for business partners. By linking web portals to real-time processing solutions, IVANS RTC enables carriers to leverage the speed of real-time processing across several of their systems. We are excited that Builders Insurance Group has selected IVANS as its partner for expanding the carrier’s presence in the marketplace.”
