Bruce Walker Named Chief Financial Officer of Nippon Life Benefits

Nippon Life Benefits, one of the leading providers of employee benefit solutions, announced that Bruce Walker, who has more than 25 years of finance experience, has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Walker will be responsible for Nippon Life Benefits' finance and treasury functions and will report to Chief Operating Officer Francine Young.

Prior to joining Nippon Life Benefits, Walker worked for Guardian Life Insurance Company, as Chief Accountant, Group Insurance. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Swiss Re Life and Health Canada, in Toronto, and served as Head of Financial Services at Swiss Re America Holding Corp., in Armonk, New York. Earlier in his career, Walker worked in the Financial Institution Practice of KPMG, in Canada and in Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant. Walker earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Brock University in Ontario, Canada.
