Brown & Brown of Washington acquires certain assets of DiMartino Associates

Brown & Brown of Washington acquired the insurance agency and brokerage business-related assets of DiMartino Associates.
Brown & Brown Inc. unit Brown & Brown of Washington Inc. acquired the insurance agency and brokerage business-related assets of DiMartino Associates Inc., according to a Feb. 26 press release.
DiMartino Associates offers employee benefit services, including plan design and selection, marketing, and employee and plan participant communications, and compliance support services to a variety of individual, business, association and governmental clients.
DiMartino Associates President Greg DiMartino and his staff will continue to operate from their office in Seattle.
The selling entity's DiMartino Financial Services division is not part of this transaction and will continue to operate from its Seattle location.
Brown & Brown is based in Daytona Beach, Fla.
