Bridgeforce Adds Auto Finance Industry Leader to Support Auto Finance Practice Growth
Sep 10, 2009 (EWORLDWIRE via Comtex) -- Bridgeforce, a leading consultancy in credit, collections, and risk management, announced the addition of Chris Barry to its leadership team. Barry is an auto industry executive formerly with AmeriCredit Financial Services, Chase Auto Finance and American Credit Acceptance.
The auto finance industry has faced tremendous challenges in recent years,as frozen debt markets, high unemployment and the downturn in the automotive industry have required innovative approaches to loan origination and risk management strategies. "The addition of Mr. Barry comes at a time when our clients within the auto finance industry need it the most," says John Sanders, Bridgeforce COO and founder. "Banks, finance companies and credit unions are having to re-engineer their risk management and loss mitigation strategies throughout their organization - from the day they first introduce themselves to a dealer through the date a loan is paid out or charged off. Mr. Barry significantly enhances our ability to address the immediate needs and challenges that our auto finance clients are facing today."
"Bringing my experience together with Bridgeforce's exceptional track history of success serving the top-10 U.S and global banks as well as the leading auto finance companies, will create a powerful force for leading innovation in the auto finance industry," says Barry.
Barry was previously founder, president and CEO of American Credit Acceptance, an auto finance lender servicing the deep sub-prime lending segment of the industry which became an industry leader in its segment through the execution of innovative dealer engagement, risk management and operating platform strategies. Prior to ACA, he was the regional credit executive and national direct lending executive for Chase Auto Finance, the industry leading auto financing source for prime lending, where he managed the credit function for the southeast region and led the re-engineering and execution of the Internet and direct auto lending platform. Barry established himself as a key leader in the auto finance industry as he was a founder and senior manager of AmeriCredit Financial Services, the industry leading auto financing source for sub-prime lending, where he managed the development and execution of the branch operation, credit, funding, collection, compliance and Internet functions.
"The speed and magnitude of changes in the lending markets has caught even the most forward-thinking organizations unprepared," says Dawn Willey, Bridgeforce CEO and founder. "Our team is committed to helping the auto finance industry re-engineer and rapidly implement solutions that will quickly identify and treat the risks auto lenders are facing today, as well as prepare for tomorrow."
