Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Experts Win National Health Information Award

Jacksonville Beach, FL (Vocus) November 2, 2010

From Hormone Hell to Hormone Well by C.W. Randolph Jr., M.D., R.Ph. and Genie James M.M.Sc., of Randolph Medical Enterprises, received a Bronze Award in the Consumer Decision-Making Health Information competition sponsored by the 17th annual National Health Information Awards. This program recognizes the nation’s best consumer health information programs and materials produced.

“We were delighted to participate in the National Health Information Awards program and were honored to be selected as a winner,” said Dr. Randolph. “From Hormone Hell to Hormone Well (Health Communications, Inc, 2nd edition 2008) was chosen from more than 1,000 entries judged by a national panel of health information experts. We are extremely gratified that our writing on bioidentical hormone replacement therapies (BHRT) stood out amongst other national organizations in the consumer health field.”

One of the nation’s leading physician experts in the field of natural health and medicine, Dr. Randolph is internationally recognized as a leader in the realm of BHRT. The cornerstone of Dr. Randolph’s Ageless & Wellness Medical Center, his insurance-based practice has treated thousands of women and men with hormone imbalances for more than a decade.

Dr. Randolph with co-author and wife Genie James has authored two books in addition to From Hormone Hell to Hormone Well, From Belly Fat to Belly Flat (Health Communications Inc., 2008; now in four languages) and In the Mood Again (Simon and Schuster, 2010). The National Health Information Award marks three awards for James who has also authored the award-winning books, Making Managed Care Work (McGraw-Hill, 1997) and Winning in the Women’s Health Care Marketplace (Jossey-Bass, 2000).

The award program is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials.
