Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Names Robert Romeo as VP, Healthcare Professional and Construction Line Claims

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance announced the appointment of Robert Romeo as Vice President, Claims, Healthcare Professional Liability and Construction Lines.
In a release, the Company noted that Romeo was previously Senior Vice President, Claims, Medical Risk, Construction and Construction Defect, at ACE.
"Robert's business acumen, diligence and work ethic exemplify our approach to handling claims," said David Crowe, SVP, Chief Claims Officer, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. "His deep industry knowledge and experience will help us to enhance our relationships with customers and brokers, and assist them to achieve the best possible outcome and resolution of a claim."
Romeo previously managed healthcare, construction, excess casualty and construction defect claims at ACE. Before that, he held positions of increasing responsibility at AIG Healthcare. He began his insurance career handling medical malpractice claims at Zurich North America.
He will be based in the New York office of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
