Benelogic and CareFirst, Inc. to Offer Integrated Online Benefits Administration
TIMONIUM, Md. -Aug. 26, 2003- Benelogic, a leading provider of intuitive software applications designed to simplify employee benefits administration together with CareFirst, Inc., (CareFirst), an independent licensee of the BlueCross and BlueShield Association, today announced a joint undertaking to offer to CareFirst's 50+ non Federal group businesses in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia, online enrollment services through private labeling. Private labeling is the practice of integrating technology or service offerings to match an existing corporate infrastructure. In the case of CareFirst, Benelogic's service will appear to the customers as an extension of the insurance company's own services.
