BenTech Source1 is specifically designed to save brokers money on technology and technology-related staffing while enabling brokers to be “worry free” by providing highly experienced consulting support and services to handle any client need.
BenTech Source1 technology solutions provides brokers with access to a web-based HR Resource Center, a Web-based Benefits Communication System, an Intranet Development Tool, web-based Enrollment, Consolidated Billing, web-based HR Administration, and an Internet Survey Tool. BenTech Source1 also includes services such as a Benefits Technology Knowledge Center , Consulting Hours from the BTG Consultants, Sales Support, Competitive Analysis, Technology Deployment Assistance, and Quarterly Newsletters and Surveys.
“The Benefits and HR Technology business is changing rapidly”, says Tim Doherty, Vice President of Summit Financial Corporation. “One day a client may need Benefits Statements, another may want an HR System, and a third may simply need a benefits technology expert to analyze a complex problem and “shop” the market for solutions. BTG and BenTech Source1 is an extension of our company providing the knowledge and technology to keep us competitive while enabling us to remain focused on what we do best.”
“It’s not about the technology, it’s about solving a client’s business problems,” says Don Rowe, Benefits Technology Group, Executive Vice President. “It’s difficult for brokers to know what technology solutions they will need on any given day or when they will need access to a technology expert.”
BenTech Source1 has been specifically designed to solve some basic problems for employee benefits brokers including:
- Preventing Brokers from losing customers because they don’t have access to the right technology solution
- Eliminating a Broker’s Risk of losing clients by not having sufficient technical expertise
- Eliminating the broker’s need to staff in advance to support a client’s future technology needs
- Saving Money for Brokers who spend too much on over-hyped and under-used technology
BTG has done an initial rollout through a number of insurance brokers and is expanding throughout the United States . Market exclusive arrangements will be considered in select markets.
