BRIEF: Erie man accused of having stolen gun [Erie Times-News, Pa.]

Oct. 04--Erie police said they found a city man in possession of a stolen firearm during a traffic stop in the city this morning.

Tommie C. Lucas, 36, of the 500 block of East 21st Street, awaits arraignment this morning on charges of persons not to possess a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, receiving stolen property, driving under suspension, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended registration.

Police accuse Lucas of possessing a handgun that was reported stolen in a burglary in the city. The gun was found during a traffic stop in the 500 block of East Eighth Street at about 12:14 a.m., police said.
