Atzenhoffer car dealership opens Allstate Insurance office

Jan. 31--Atzenhoffer Chevrolet is branching out into insurance.

The Victoria car dealership will open an Allstate Insurance office inside its store Saturday, said Tommy Taylor, Atzenhoffer general manager.

"We'll be able to provide customers an opportunity to handle all their automotive and insurance needs under one roof," he said.

The fourth-generation businessman said the decision to include the insurance company was something he has worked on for about a year. Allstate doesn't just want to work with anyone, he said, so Atzenhoffer is proud to partner with them.

Allstate's dealer program includes a full-service agency on-site to provide a complete line of insurance services and a one-stop-shop option to customers.

Ryan Stahl, agency manager, said the office will offer services for home, life, business and automobile coverage. The new location inside Atzenhoffer will be no different than any other Allstate office, he said.

"We're in the business of offering solutions for risky situations," he said. "That's what insurance is -- you don't use it until you need it."

Atzenhoffer and Allstate have great reputations in the community, said Stahl. By working together, the two will be able to extend their services through convenience. People who are looking for information regarding their insurance can visit the office Saturday while most offices are closed, and he said they can visit the office later because it will have the same hours as the dealership.

"It makes it a convenient to have a place to go and get your car serviced and also print out an insurance card or change details on a policy," Taylor said.
