Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd (NYSE:AWH) announced that Alicia Bromfield, Senior Claims Analyst for its U.S. subsidiaries' healthcare management liability claims team, is speaking at the upcoming American Conference Institute's National Advanced Compliance Forum. The event takes place May 24-25, 2010 at The Carlton Hotel on Madison Avenue in New York City, New York. The topic for the event is, "Minimizing Legal Risks in the Design, Implementation & Administration of Employee Benefit Plans." Ms. Bromfield will speak as part of a panel on Monday, May 24 at 5pm (EDT) entitled, "Fiduciary Liability Insurance: Assessing Current Coverage and Future Needs."
As a Senior Claims Analyst for Allied World Assurance Company (U.S.) Inc., Ms. Bromfield is responsible for handling a variety of claims, including Healthcare Organization Directors & Officers claims and Managed Care Errors & Omissions claims. Prior to joining Allied World, she practiced insurance coverage litigation at a private practice law firm, and specialized in: commercial general liability, professional liability, and healthcare. Ms. Bromfield earned her B.A. at Johns Hopkins University, and her law degree at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she served on the editorial board of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. She is a member of the bars of Connecticut and New York and has authored articles and presented at seminars on various topics involving insurance coverage.
