Allianz S.E. [085014] appointed Jens Reisch as chief executive officer of Allianz Malaysia Berhad [052364] and Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad [089124] to succeed Alexander Ankel, who is designated to take over management of the group's operations in Turkey.
Reisch is currently CEO of PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia [089588] and country manager of Allianz in Indonesia. His successor in Indonesia will be announced later, said the German insurance group in a statement.
The existing CEO of Allianz Turkey [090660], George Sartorel, will become the new CEO of the group's Italian unit -- Allianz Italia S.p.A. [085307] -- to succeed Massimo Michaud, who has left the company.
