AllCar and Carpingo Become Approved GSA Vendors

AllCar Rent-A-Car announced today that it has been approved – alongside its sister car share company, Carpingo – as an official government and military car rental provider. Through their acceptance, AllCar becomes one of just a handful of approved Federal Government third-party transportation providers.

As a GSA contract holder, AllCar has clearance to provide military and government personnel exclusive rental rates and access to thousands of cars on fleet in the New York City area. This GSA rate supplement is charged on all official travel. Discounted rates, unlimited mileage and vehicle upgrades are also offered as part of a new Government leisure rental program.

"We're confident that our rates will be amongst the lowest in the New York arm of the GSA program," said Cygler. "As a local provider, we have the ability to be more flexible with our rental packages than larger corporate vendors."

AllCar will also be extending reduced rates to their car sharing service, Carpingo. Based in Brooklyn, Carpingo will provide GSA employees with membership packages that offer affordable, convenient access to short-term transportation, including 24/7 access to cars with gas and insurance included.

GSA personnel will be able to take advantage of the new discount program automatically through the Carpingo and AllCar online reservation portals.
