Ace Westchester Names President

PHILADELPHIA
Ace Westchester property division has named Bob Meyer as president. Meyer will have responsibility for leading new business development, strategic direction, and implementation of underwriting strategy and product development of all property products and services. He succeeds Allan Sanderson, who is retiring. Sanderson served as president of Ace Westchester Property since 2004, and has held senior leadership positions in Ace Westchester's property division over the past 15 years.Meyer served as senior vice president of Ace Westchester property, eastern regional operations, since 2004, where he led the property underwriting operations for the Roswell, Ga., Chicago and New York regional offices. He previously served as chief underwriting officer for Ace Westchester's property division, a position he held since 2002, and prior to that, was vice president of Ace Westchester global property regional operations, in Roswell.Ace Westchester is the U.S. wholesale-focused operating division of the Ace Group.Most members of Ace INA Group have current Best's Financial Strength Ratings of A+ (Superior).
