2021/12/07 – Telehealth in Post COVID-19 World Conference Session Set by America's Health Insurance Plans

WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 (TNSeve) -- America's Health Insurance Plans has scheduled a conference session as part of its Consumer Experience and Digital Health Forum on Dec. 7, 2021, entitled "Telehealth in a Post COVID-19 World":

Krista Drobac

Krista Drobac is the Executive Director of the Alliance for Connected Care and also a partner at Sirona Strategies. She has more than twenty years of experience in federal and state government, and in public affairs. She was previously the director of the Health Division at the National Governors Association's Center for Best Practices, and a Senior Advisor at the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) during the Obama Administration. She also served as Deputy Director of the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services and spent five years on Capitol Hill as a health advisor to Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin and Senator Debbie Stabenow.

The Alliance for Connected Care is a 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to ensuring that all patients and providers are able to realize the benefits of telehealth and remote monitoring. In addition to the Alliance, Krista serves as Co-Chair of Aligning for Health, a coalition advancing social determinants of health policy at the federal level, and founder of Moving Health Home, aimed at making the home a clinical site of care.

Krista holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MPP from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.

* Ateev Mehrotra, MD, MPH

Professor of Health Care Policy, Department of Health Care Policy, Harvard Medical School; Professor of Medicine & Hospitalist, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

Ateev Mehrotra, MD, MPH is a Professor in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mehrotra's research focuses on delivery innovations and their impact on access, quality, and spending. These include innovations such as telemedicine, retail clinics, and e-visits. He is also interested in the role of consumerism and whether price transparency and public reporting of quality can impact patient decision making. Dr. Mehrotra receives his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Children's Hospital of Boston. His clinical work has been both as a primary care physician and as an adult and pediatric hospitalist.

* Magda Rusinowski

Magda Rusinowski serves as Vice President at Business Group on Health in Washington, DC. Business Group on Health is a community of members, a team of experts, and an ally for large employers. Magda has an overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Cost & Delivery Institute, leading that group in identifying best practices and promising solutions to employers' health care cost and delivery challenges and influencing market-based payment and delivery reforms.

Prior to joining Business Group on Health in 2018, Magda served as the Director of US Health and Insurance Benefits at PepsiCo, Inc. In that role, Magda was responsible for developing US health benefits strategy, factoring into the plan design decisions evidence-based insights, industry best practices and the needs of the diverse and largely frontline population.

Magda is a CPA and spent the first 10 years of her career at PepsiCo holding a variety of financial reporting and accounting roles. She graduated from Baruch College, City University of New York in 1995 with a BBA in Accounting and joined PepsiCo in 2000.

Magda resides in North Salem, NY.

* Mona Siddiqui, MD, MPH, MSE

Mona Siddiqui, MD, MPH, MSE is Senior Vice President for Enterprise Clinical Strategy and Quality at Humana where she leads the development and management of Humana's integrated clinical strategy and provides strategic direction for clinical quality in an effort to improve the care and safety for patients.

Dr. Siddiqui previously worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) where she served as the Department's inaugural Chief Data Officer. In that role, she led the effort to connect the nation's health care data through the build-out of an enterprise-wide data-sharing platform and governance structure at HHS and advanced the Department's Artificial Intelligence strategy.

Previously, Dr. Siddiqui served at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation working towards implementing rapid cycle testing for payment models.

She has also served with the White House Social and Behavioral Sciences Team ("nudge" unit) during the Obama administration.

Prior to her work in the federal government, Dr. Siddiqui was at the Johns Hopkins University Health System where she was focused on driving value-based care initiatives.

Dr. Siddiqui was Valedictorian of her class at the University of Maryland and holds a Medical Degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a Master's degree in Quantitative Methods from the Harvard School of Public Health, and a Master's degree in Management and Engineering from the Stanford University School of Engineering.
