Colorado State Patrol has identified the 17- year-old Colorado Springs girl killed Tuesday night in a car crash at the intersection of Marksheffel Road and Fontaine Boulevard. Maes’ three passengers- 15- year-old Briana Medina-Martinez, 11- year-old Curtis Martinez and 6- year-old Grace Morales, all of Colorado Springs- were injured, state patrol said.

Dec. 28– GREENVILLE– Five defendants still have cases pending in connection with a reported scheme to sell shares in a non-existent power plant project in Hunt County. Ronnie Gene Nichols Jr., pleaded guilty in the 380th District Court in March to one count of theft of property of the value of $100,000 but less than $200,000 by aggregate amount.
