July 30– LAUREL COUNTY, Ky.– Effective July 1, state law requires all school booster clubs to have their own individual tax ID number and at least $1 million in general liability insurance. The Laurel County Board of Education approved the new requirements in May and set about to train club leaders how to implement and adapt to the new policies.
State Farm will anchor the 2 million square-foot campus, which is being jointly built by Sunbelt Holdings and Ryan Companies US Inc. The office complex, dubbed Marina Heights, is among three major State Farm hubs planned in the Phoenix, Dallas and Atlanta areas that have fueled speculation about possible changes at the company’s Bloomington headquarters.
