Smart Choice Names Brandon Flinchum as CFO
The 20-year veteran of Forvis Mazars joins Smart Choice.
GREENSBORO, NC—September 10, 2024— Smart Choice® has named Brandon Flinchum as chief financial officer to provide additional leadership and expertise with acquisitions and growth. Prior to joining Smart Choice, Brandon worked with Forvis Mazars for 20 years. During his time with the firm, he held various roles. Most recently he was a managing director in the firm’s Triad assurance practice, serving a variety of clients from private equity owned portfolio companies to privately held multinational organizations. Forvis Mazars is ranked among the largest public accounting firms in the United States.
“With over $130 million dollars in acquisitions in the past year, and an EBITDA that has tripled since year-end 2022 – it was the perfect time to add a seasoned professional to our team,” said Andrew Caldwell, Smart Choice president. “Brandon was also on the Forvis Mazars team that audited our financials in prior years, so he is extremely familiar with our business model.”

Brandon Flinchum received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from Appalachian State University and is a licensed CPA in North Carolina.
