Company Hires EVP of Sales, Appoints General Manager
Houston, Texas (June 29) —InsurMark is proud to announce Jay Vinson is the new executive vice president of sales and marketing. Jay comes to InsurMark from National Planning Holdings, where he oversaw business development, practice management and led the advisory sales team. With 20+ years of financial experience, Jay has a successful track record of developing top-producing sales teams and has in-depth knowledge of broker-dealer networks.
In step with industry changes and poised for major growth, InsurMark is also proud to announce the strategic move to reposition Jeff Maxey, former senior vice president of sales, to general manager. Jeff is a 20-year veteran of InsurMark as well as a board member of National Association for Fixed Annuities (NAFA). Steve Kerns will continue as CEO of the company he founded 34 years ago.
“Last year our momentum went into full swing, assuming an industry leadership position with regard to DOL regulatory changes,” Kerns said. “A natural evolution of that is expanding and redefining our corporate leadership as we continue to support independent financial advisors with best practices, quality products, and expert consultation.”
